Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before your grow begins.

If your question depends on pricing, capacity, timing, or fulfillment, I confirm the current answer with your grow order.

What are microgreens?

Microgreens are young edible greens grown from many different vegetable and herb seeds. They are harvested early and used to finish meals, salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and chef plates.

How does grown to order work?

Choose the varieties you want and submit your grow order. I confirm the full order with you. After confirmation, planting begins and the crop joins the agreed weekly grow schedule.

When does planting begin?

Your grow begins after I confirm your order.

Which varieties can I order?

Awakening Farms currently offers Arugula, Basic Microgreens Salad Mix, Broccoli, Daikon Radish, Rambo Radish, Speckled Pea, Sunflower, and Wheatgrass through the grown-to-order process.

Does submitting the form confirm my order?

No. The form sends your proposed grow order to me. I confirm the varieties, grow plan, pricing, format, timing, fulfillment, and next steps with you before planting begins.

How and when do I pay?

Square handles the invoice and payment. I confirm the current invoice and payment timing with your order. No card information is collected on this website.

Are Awakening Farms microgreens USDA Certified Organic?

No, we are not USDA Certified Organic. We grow with soil, filtered water, and organic seed.

Do you offer pickup or delivery?

You can share your pickup or delivery preference with your grow order. The available area, days, fees, minimums, and handoff details are confirmed directly with you.

What do the products cost?

Current pricing, package size or weight, and payment cadence are confirmed with your grow order. No price is final until I confirm it with you.

Can I request a weekly grow?

Yes. Choose “A weekly grow” when you submit your order. I will confirm the varieties, plan, timing, pricing, and fulfillment with you.

Can chefs, cafés, and food businesses order?
